Christine Santiago is Senior Vice President of the Inland Marine unit within the Specialty Lines Division of AXIS Insurance. As head of this unit, she manages underwriters in New York City, Atlanta and Chicago who specialize in providing builders risk coverage for construction projects nationwide. She has over 20 years of insurance industry experience and has led AXIS’ U.S. builders risk business since joining the company in 2003. Previously, she worked four years at ACE USA’s Westchester Specialty Division, where she had been Assistant Vice President and Chief Underwriter for Inland Marine in their New York Region. From 1995 through 1999, Christine held managerial and underwriting positions within the Inland Marine department at USF&G/St. Paul. She also previously worked at Hartford Insurance Group as a Senior Inland Marine Representative and at AIG Risk Specialists of New York as an Excess and Surplus Lines Property Underwriter.
