Alistair Robson
Executive Vice President, Global Property
 

Alistair Robson joined the International Division of AXIS Insurance in July 2011. He serves as head of AXIS Global Property, which encompasses property underwriters in London, Dublin, Bermuda, Australia and Singapore. Alistair has 25 years of experience as a property underwriter in the London market. Prior to joining AXIS, he was with Beazley Syndicate, where he headed up London market underwriting for their Property Group.

Jonathan Marshall
Senior Vice President, Global Property
 

Jonathan Marshall has worked in the insurance industry for 12 years gaining experience in both the Lloyd's and company markets. Having first started work at Brockbank Syndicate in 1994, where he was introduced to the property account, he continues to work on this class of business today. After moving to Ace in 2000, he started work at AXIS just after formation of the company in 2001.

Gavin Davis joined AXIS Insurance in January 2010 after serving as Vice President & Senior Broker at Guy Carpenter in Bermuda since 2006. From 2000 to 2006, he worked as a NASD licensed Financial Advisor and an Equity Arbitrage Trader for two locally based, BMA licensed Bermuda companies. Gavin also formerly held property underwriting positions at General Re and prior to that, at National Re before the company was acquired by Berkshire Hathaway. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Colby College in Maine.

Daniel Walsh joined AXIS in April 2002 as an Underwriter, located in our Dublin office. Through our Dublin office we write many of our specialty classes of business including Property, Onshore and Offshore Energy, Marine, Aviation, Political Risk including Terrorism, and Professional Lines classes of business. Daniel is CII qualified and has over 13 years experience in the insurance market. He began his career with the Generali in 1994, and then moved to ACE in 1999 where he worked until coming to AXIS.

After graduating with a BSc (Hons) from the London School of Economics in 1996, Rory joined the M F Newton (later Cox) Syndicate in Lloyd's. During his time in Lloyd's, he underwrote a Property-based book, including some Onshore Energy and Terrorism risks. Rory joined AXIS in January 2002 to work on multiple lines, first for AXIS Europe in London and Dublin and then moving to AXIS Specialty Limited in Bermuda in October 2003. He later relocated to AXIS Specialty Limited's branch office in Singapore.
