The Managing General Agency (MGA) Department assesses and advises on all elements of MGA relationships to support various underwriting operations across AXIS Insurance.

The AXIS MGA Department is located in the London branch of AXIS Specialty Europe Limited. Through AXIS Specialty London, the MGA Department works with a core group of London-based intermediaries.Via these London brokers, AXIS has established strong relationships with market-leading MGAs throughout the United States.

Our MGA partners give us the ability to provide access to specialized insurance products through local experts. We carefully select our MGAs based on their extensive experience and proven success in the marketplace. Our comprehensive due diligence process reflects our disciplined approach to growing our business and to building profitable, long-term relationships.

The MGA Department has also developed Axisagensee.com, a proprietary, web-based system that supports all AXIS delegated authority arrangements. This online infrastructure enhances the AXIS-MGA-Broker tri-partite relationship by providing common access to files and allowing ease of management of due diligence and business planning data.

Our focus is on property insurance and related coverages, with policies backed by the "A" rated strength of the AXIS Insurance companies. We constantly evaluate new opportunities and seek to arrange MGA partnerships globally.
