Update on UK High Court Ruling of FCA’s Business Interruption Test Case

You will have seen that the High Court has published the outcome of the FCA’s Business Interruption test case. While we are reviewing the judgment and its implications as quickly as possible, our review may take a few days to complete due to the length and complexity of the ruling.

We aim to provide policyholders who have made a claim or complaint with a more detailed written explanation of our decision about their claim or complaint within the next 10-14 working days. If you have referred a complaint to Lloyd’s you will also hear from them within the same timescale.

Further information is provided on the FCA website, and we will also be keeping our website regularly updated.
